Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information the Equifolio app (“Equifolio”, “we”, “us”) handles, and the choices you have. In short: your portfolio stays on your device unless you choose to sync it, there are no adverts, and we never sell your data.

1. Information you enter

Equifolio is a personal portfolio tracker. The information it holds is what you enter — your holdings, transactions, manual assets (cash, deposits, property, P2P, bullion, pensions), values, dates, and any notes.

2. Optional cloud sync

If you choose to enable cloud sync, a copy of your portfolio data is stored on a secure hosted database so it can sync across your devices. This is optional and off unless you turn it on. You can stop syncing at any time, and you can ask us to delete your synced data (see “Deleting your data”).

3. Market prices

To show live prices, the app requests quotes for the ticker symbols you view through our price service, which sources data from Yahoo Finance. These requests include the symbols being priced, but not your name or identity.

4. Purchases and subscriptions

If you buy a subscription, the purchase is processed by Google Play (or the App Store) and our subscription provider. Payment is handled entirely by the app store — we never see or store your card details.

5. What we do not do

• We do not show adverts.
• We do not sell, rent, or share your personal or financial data.
• We do not use third-party advertising or cross-app tracking.

6. Deleting your data

Data held on your device is removed when you clear it within the app or uninstall Equifolio. If you have used cloud sync and want your synced data deleted, contact us at the address below and we will remove it.

7. Children

Equifolio is intended for adults managing their own finances and is not directed at children.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
